Gladiators - A Salute to all Soldiers

Walked they to the fields, as the orders began
Passionate liberty for a long, in their way
Marched they straight, knowing their goals
They crossed the borders unknown.

Some returned and some retained by the fields
Now buried in graves, with medals around
with glory in its depth, and history to remember
Ain’t you hear the sound, that echos around?

Died for thee, and they loved the death
Waiting for the sun, to rouse in days ahead
Tears of joy, and sorrows of depart they left
Hoping moment for us, to exhale the free air.

Rivals laugh in high, as you slow down
Gear up the dormant veins, its calling you
Dying in honour is worthy, being coward
Are you still sleeping when the journey is on?

Sheltering around does not count
Poor are they, who dream fake around
Walk in thrones, will pay one day
Rome was not built in a day around.

Change is brought, through the burning veins
Tyrant rules have vanished around
Liberty and peace, new change all wants
Don’t you resemble sovereign’s dreams around?

Springs arise after crackling leaves
Sun light horizon, far fading the fog
Gladiators are real they, to change the broken
Facing up the crowd to sunlight, and vanish in proud.
